The Information Needed to Establish Dialup Networking With Hamilton & Bond Internet Services
This information will be required by your Dialup Networking set-up wizard or by Mac Remote Access Control Panel.

Select username for login (Case sensitive, enter in lower case)

Windows Set-up Information:

1. Configure your Windows machine for TCP/IP

Select My Computer, then Control Panels
Double click the Network icon
Under Configuration tab, see if TCP/IP is alrealy installed.
If not, click Add. Select Protocol, Microsoft, TCP/IP. Click OK.
Also select Adapter, Microsoft, Dial-Up Adapter. Click OK.

2. Configure TCP/IP Properties

Double click TCP/IP.
Click IP Address tab. Click Obtain IP address automatically.
Click DNS Configuration tab.
Host field: enter your username
Domain field: leave blank
DNS Server Search Order:

Type 207.112.193.002, click Add
Type 207.112.193.4, click Add

Domain Suffix Search Order:

Type marketus.net, click Add
Type .net, click Add
Type .com, click Add
Type ., click Add

Click Gateway tab: enter 207.112.193.1, click add.
WINS Configuration tab: Click disable wins resolution
Nothing to do for Advanced and Bindings.
Click OK.

3. Configure the Dialer

Go to Start Menu, Programs, Accessories, Phone Dialer.

(If Dial-Up networking is not available, you must first add it by going to Add/Remove Programs Properties, select Windows Setup, Select Communications, click Details. Check Dial-Up Networking bos and click ok.)

Click Make New Connection.
Name your Connection icon (H&B, for example).
When prompted for dialup number, enter 630-562-2487.
Also, you may create a secondary icon (H&B2) should you experience any difficulties connecting to the primary number. Secondary number is 630-469-2896.
The first time you double-click this icon, you will be prompted for your username and password. REMEMBER TO USE lowercase. You may also elect to save your password, depending on whether you want to enter it each time.

Click Connect, and you should be set! Let us know if you encounter any troubles.

If there is a problem, please confirm that you’re using lowercase when typing in your username and password and confirm that you’ve entered all information correctly. If you cannot connect, please prepare to give us the specific error messages or “symptoms” so we can assist you.
